The other day, Daddy bought you a Scream costume, complete with black robe, the mask and a huge palakol. You were excited at first, but cried when we were fitting it on you. You never tried the mask and robe on. But you hugged it for 2 days.
Yesterday, we made you a makeshift pirate costume with my clothes, an eyepatch and a groovy belt. You marched all around the house saying ARRRR! to everyone and announcing that you're a pirate :) You were such a cutie-pie.
You and daddy left at around 1pm to San Roque today. You had no clue what was going to happen, but you kissed everyone excitedly as you said goodbye.
Daddy said when you reached Marikina, you still didn't want to wear the Scream costume. Tita Gege didn't like the makeshift pirate costume, so she made you a White Lady costume on the spot. And since you love dressing up complete with make-up, you didn't complain.
When you were done, you were so groggy that the makeup looked creepy with your sleepy eyes. (Here you were with Kuya Vlad.) Several minutes after, you asked for milk and slept. Daddy was so relieved that you took your nap because every time you skip naps, your sleeping time gets all crazy..and we all end up sleeping in the morning, and awake at night.
When you woke up, you had the energy to go trick-or-treating. Ate aira, kuya Vlad and you had a quick photoshoot. And even if Vlad wore the Scream costume, you still didn't like it. Check out your face here:
After warming up, you were ready to join the trick-or-treating parade. For a soon-to-be-3, three streets of asking for candy is a long long way. Here you are working like a donya for your candies. hehehe
At the end of the parade, all the kids lined up so the judges could check out your costumes and award someone with the best costume. Daddy thought you won't walk the runway hehe but you proved him wrong. :)
Kuya Vlad won the Best Costume for boys. :P You took home a bucket-full of candies. You were very very happy to show it off to mama, even if you don't have a sweet tooth. Mama said that you went gaga for these candies when you went home, counting your "harvest" throughout the night.
*p.s. We haven't been separated for more than 10 hours in the last 2 1/2 years, but I attended an overnight high school reunion this day. I couldn't wait to go home and check out all your pictures. It was also the first time I experienced separation anxiety, I missed you so badly.
